Design, raw materials, use of biocomposites, reclaimed materials from existing structures, recycled materials, renewable sources, working conditions, delivery of the finished project and the impact of the item on the environment after its useful life are all considered when planning a project with Cosmic Walker. Knowledge of finishes is important especially where allergies and health issues are a concern. Cosmic Walker envisions manufacturing its most successful pieces by combining materials and processes with an "Earth First" business philosophy.

With awareness and activism at an all time high, the company's 2800 square foot facility pleasantly sets an example by implementing "green design" and using environmentally responsible processes like heating with an outdoor wood furnace that burns scraps and firewood. Wood shavings are recycled as animal bedding. The building is super insulated and has lighting that is highly efficient.

Ecologically sound practices, in turn, bring financially sound results.

As General Manager, Paul Yeager has practiced environmentally sound principles in his personal affairs. Following a green philosophy is second nature as a business practice. Experienced in construction, demolition, remodeling and general contracting, Paul has insight into more than his niche of cabinetry and furniture making.
